For 8 months, Fishtoes Vintage + Treasures has been open and in such a short amount of time, we’ve grown so much.
We’ve been reflecting on all of the amazing vintage pieces we’ve rescued and found new homes for, the incredible local businesses that have collaborated with us and the wonderful customers that keep supporting our shop.
This shoot is a testament to these things. Amanda, our model for this shoot, found a stunning vintage dress that fit her like a glove, so much so, that we asked if she’d want to model it and boy oh boy did she.
“My parents had told me about the store opening, so we stopped by after dinner because I needed a dress for a wedding coming up. I was happy to find a huge rack of formal dresses from all different eras to try. I was attracted to the sleeves on this one and luckily it fit perfectly!”
Sarah, co-owner of 815 Cocktails & Provisions, has become a dear friend of ours and didn’t blink when we asked if we could shoot at her establishment.
We’re so grateful for everything and everyone. The future is bright.
