As small businesse owners, opening a brick-and-mortar store is a HUGE deal. Nobody sees the 16 hour days and lack of sleep, the sheer determination of working diligently through surprise challenges or the milestones hit (that we were able to celebrate for about 2 seconds before moving onto the next task). It can be a lonely road, but incredibly satisfying when you see your hard work pay off.

Opening our vintage store in the heart of downtown Manchester, NH, was a dream come true. What we had envisioned 1 year prior had come to life and now, locals and visitors were walking into Fishtoes to find treasures. What we hadn’t expected was the incredible support & kindness we saw from our fellow local small businesses!
Right away, The Moka Pot, Chamber of Commerce, Palace Theatre, Industry East Bar (our neighboring businesses on Hanover St.) and Stashbox, Queen City Cupcakes & Diz Cafe (businesses on Elm St.) all made sure to shout us out on social media.
This kind of, we’re all in this together, mentality is part of why Manchester, NH is so special. The people here respect hard work, are down to earth and believe in coming together as a community for the greater good. We can’t express how grateful we are to be part of it.
Our mission is not only to offer incredible vintage clothing, furniture & home décor to Manchester, but to be active in the community and do what we can to better this unique city, by working with and alongside the other small businesses that attract locals and visitors to downtown.

Not just the local small businesses rallied around us, but also the movers & shakers of Manchester, NH. We can’t thank everyone enough for shopping with us, spreading the news of our newly opened vintage shop and giving us such a grand welcoming!
