We’re so excited to announce our first Featured Local Artist, Children’s book author & educator, Celia Botto!
Celia, local to Manchester, New Hampshire, recently published her first book, “When Ayden Paints the Sky”, which is a story inspired by a playdate with her niece, Ayden, who uses painting as a way of expressing her feelings.
Throughout the story, incredible watercolors present beautiful interpretations of the main character and her imagination. It’s a beautiful adventure that can be enjoyed by those young and old.
Not only does Celia believe in her community, but her community believes in her. Manchester, New Hampshire has acted as a stage for her to showcase her book, which you can purchase downtown at a few locations, including Fishtoes, where you can get a signed copy.
When we met Celia for the first time and heard about her book, we were amazed by her other gift, styling! She browsed through all of our racks and displays, coming forward with the perfect vintage jacket, hat and Coach purse to go with the outfit she already had on. It was impressive!
Here at Fishtoes, we are thrilled to use our store as another space for talented local artists to gain more exposure, sell their art and be discovered by locals and visitors alike.
